Following the Olympic Games, the Government is investing heavily in promoting and improving Physical Education (PE) and sport in primary schools. The funding has been being allocated directly to primary schools so that it can be used in the way that best meets the needs of the school.
Schools must use the funding to make additional and sustainable improvements to the quality of PE and Sport they offer. This means the premium should be used to:
- Develop or add to the PE and Sport activities that the school has offered previously
- Make improvements that will benefit pupils joining the school in future years.
Springdale's Sports Premium report which details the funding and the way that it has been used may be accessed by following the links below or by contacting the school office.
